Senior Buyer

AIEM SRL EPC General Contractor company operating in the MEP (Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing), Renewable Energy (PV) and Energy Efficiency (EE) Plants sector in the B2B, B2C and B2G sectors throughout the country; participated by one of the world’s largest investment funds in Private Equity Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Buyer.

The ideal candidate has specific knowledge in the engineering-plant sector (mechanical, electrical, photovoltaic utility scale and energy efficiency) and a proven track record in managing project procurement and supply chain processes (design/construction on site).

The resource, reporting directly to the Head Procurement Manager; will manage Procurement and Purchasing activities coordinating with other internal functions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Scouting, planning, coordinating and controlling direct and indirect procurement for the execution of construction contracts and plant projects (renewable – photovoltaic utility scale and energy efficiency). Clients will be public and private; in accordance with project requirements, technical specifications, BoQ and Scope of Works in compliance with company procedures;
  • Supporting the Head Procurement Manager and Project Managers in coordinating specific issues on procurement of contracts;
  • Supporting other internal functions in scouting and negotiating materials; such as PV modules, inverters, power stations and supporting metal structures;
  • Monitoring compliance of goods shipped from suppliers and related documentation, in full compliance with project timelines and requirements;
  • Supporting the project team in developing specifications to optimize the design;
  • Drafting of procurement/subcontract orders and contracts in coordination with other business functions.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within structured and operating companies in the plant and energy sector;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in technical field;
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • Background from companies operating in the utility scale photovoltaic industry will be considered a plus.

Contract:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday;

    Sales Area Manager KAM

    The resource, reporting directly to the Sales Director, will be responsible for developing new direct sales opportunities in B2B and B2G sectors throughout the country.

    Job Description.

    • The resource will be expected to lead the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract closing, contributing to the achievement of sales targets and business growth;
    • Manage and develop relationships with key customers;
    • Identify new business opportunities and sales strategies;
    • Developing Relationships with key stakeholders;
    • Contract Negotiation: conduct contract negotiations, working collaboratively with various internal and legal departments to secure favorable contract terms;
    • Goal-oriented work and autonomy in organizing own work;
    • Collaborate with the sales/offering team to achieve business objectives.

    Main Duties and Activities

    • Identify opportunities in the market for the construction or expansion of photovoltaic systems and/or industrial plants;
    • Manage and develop a portfolio of clients in the Company’s industry;
    • Collaborate with the Tender/Sales department in order to prepare commercial bids;
    • Keep abreast of trends in the photovoltaic and non-photovoltaic market, as well as its evolutions;
    • Collaborate synergistically with other company functions.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in the role of Key Account Manager or Sales Area Manager;
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
    • Knowledge of the English language;
    • Results orientation and ability to work in a team;
    • Skill in managing long-term business relationships and customer retention.

    Previous experience in modernly structured international contexts belonging to the plant engineering sector and/or EPC organizations operating in the renewable energy sector will be considered a plus.

      QHSE Manager

      AIEM SRL EPC General Contractor company operating in the MEP (Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing), Renewable Energy (PV) and Energy Efficiency (EE) sectors in the B2B, B2C and B2G sectors throughout the country and part of one of the world’s largest institutional Private Equity Infrastructure investment funds and operating throughout the country, seeks a QHSE Manager.

      The resource, reporting directly to the COO, will be responsible for managing the Company’s QHSE and Qualifications system. In addition to the quality control and nonconformity management part with suppliers and customers, he/she will have to monitor internal processes.

      Main Duties:

      • Organization of site documentation
      • Organization of safety in the different work phases
      • Collaboration with RSPP, project manager and site manager in the management of critical issues.
      • Keeping waste disposal books;
      • Drafting of the company and site quality plan;
      • Preparation of documents for access to construction sites;
      • Set up, establish and monitor company procedures on QHSE and Supplier/Subcontractor Qualifications;
      • Verify quality requirements related to both internal (internal audits) and external (supplier assessment) activities;
      • Participation in internal and supplier audits regarding safety and environment;
      • Contact person for collection of Company Procedures.

      Requirements:

      • Technical Diploma or Degree;
      • At least one two of experience in the role, preferably in general construction companies and/or working on contract;
      • Training in construction including in public procurement;
      • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office package;
      • Knowledge of the English language;
      • Willingness to travel for short periods where necessary

        Project Engineer

        AIEM S.r.l. EPC General Contractor company operating in the Plant, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency sector throughout Italy and supported by an international investment fund, operating in the renewable energy sector throughout Italy, is recruiting a Project Engineer.

        RESPONSIBILITIES:

        • Designing electrical installations mainly on photovoltaic systems
        • Complete document drafting of technical specifications, specifications in accordance with the authorised project
        • Documentary review of activities carried out by external consultants
        • Supporting project managers and the construction department

        REQUIREMENTS:

        • Degree in electrical or energy engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
        • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in executive design on photovoltaic systems
        • Knowledge of AUTOCAD (MANDATORY)
        • Knowledge of PV SYST (PREFERENTIAL)
        • Knowledge of office package
        • Provenance and experience within General Contractors and/or EPCs operating in the photovoltaic utility scale sector will be considered a plus.
